We would recommend scanning through our size chart as a first line of action. Here’s a quick link to it. This should help you pick the right size. What does dual size mean?
Garments that have a more relaxed and comfortable fit can be worn by, for example, both an S & M or M & L .
How do I choose the right size for your dual sized styles?
You should size down. If you normally wear a size S, opt for XS/S; if you wear size M, opt for S/M and so on. The idea is to wear a garment that is easy and relaxed.
What is OS and OS+?
OS is an abbreviation for One Size fits all. These garments are meant to be oversized. We suggest going with an OS if you normally wear sizes XS to L. OS+ will work better for sizes XL and higher.
I don’t see OS measurements in your size chart.
We don’t include OS measurements in our size chart because they vary with each style and silhouette. We suggest going with an OS if you normally wear sizes XS to L. OS+ will work better for XL and higher.
I’m very petite and usually wear a size XS, will the OS be loose for me?
Yes, it will be. But it’s meant to be loose.
I usually wear a size L/XL, will the OS work or do I need to purchase the OS+?
OS will work but OS+ will fit the way the style is meant to. We would recommend picking the latter.
Do your sizes usually run larger?
Many of our styles have a relaxed and easy fit. Our sizes don’t run large. Because of the nature of such garments, you might find yourself easily slipping into a size smaller than your usual size; this is pretty common. But we always recommend sticking to your usual size because this will ensure the garments fall the way they are supposed to.
I have my body measurements and need a size recommendation.
We have a detailed size chart for each category of clothing. Here’s a quick link to it. This will help you pick the right size with ease. We have also included an international size chart on the same page.
What are the sizes you generally offer?
We currently have sizes ranging from XS to XL.
I am an expecting mother and need a size recommendation.
This can be tricky as your measurements will change through the duration of your pregnancy. It depends on what your measurements are at the time of placing your order compared to what you normally wear. We will be able to suggest the right size for you based on this information. I fall in-between sizes. Which size do I buy?
We recommend checking our size chart as a first line of action. This should help you determine the size you should opt for. As a general rule, for dresses and tops we recommend sticking to the smaller size. For bottoms, it's best to mention your body measurements in the NOTES section at checkout while placing your order. This will help us send the right size across.
Do you leave margins?
We do not leave margins. All products are well finished with a french seam.

We do not offer alterations.
What is your lead time?
Our usual dispatch lead time is 5 working days from the date of receiving an order. At The Summer House, we follow a smart inventory system and make everything to order. This ensures zero inventory pile-up. We work Monday through Friday and are closed for weekends.
I want an expedited delivery.
We do take up early delivery requests from our customers. We would suggest writing to us at email@example.com to check the feasibility prior to placing your order with us as early deliveries are subject to immediate availability of fabric, production bandwidth, priority shipping availability to your pin code etc.
What is my order status?
All orders are dispatched in 15 working days from the date of receiving an order. We work Monday through Friday and are closed for the weekends. You will receive an email notification once the shipment has left our studio along with the tracking details. Please be assured that we will try our absolute best to ensure the order reaches you at the earliest. In case of any delays, our customer service will notify you accordingly.
Which couriers do you use?
We use Bluedart, Delhivery and DTDC for all our domestic shipments. International orders are dispatched through DHL or FeDEx based on serviceability.
Do I need to pay customs?
We settle all taxes and dues until the final destination of delivery. However, a few times order packages may get held at the discretion of the local customs officer. This is a rare occurrence and we will do everything to ensure your order shipment reaches you hassle free.
What is the cost of shipping?
We offer free shipping pan India. The cost of international shipping depends on the weight of the shipment and the delivery pin code. You will be able to check the shipping cost real time at checkout while placing your order.
How long does international orders take after dispatch?
The transit times for international parcels vary based on the destination. On an average, it takes about five days in transit.
Your website says it costs 25 SGD/15 pounds/30 AUD etc. for shipping, but I'm being charged more.
These are approximate values. The cost of international shipping depends on the weight of the shipment and the delivery pin code. You will be able to check the shipping cost real time at checkout while placing your order.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. We have customers in 39 countries across the globe.
The tracking says my order has been delivered but I haven't received it.
This is a rare occurrence and has happened only a handful of times. Since we use external courier partners we will need to check with the courier partner to understand what has happened. We would suggest writing to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll help sort this for you.
I didn’t receive an order confirmation email.
If your card or bank account has been debited but you have not received an order confirmation email from us, please check your spam and promotions folders. If you are still unable to find it, please bring this to our attention immediately so we can check on this. You can write to us at email@example.com with Subject: ORDER CONFIRMATION MISSING
I ordered the wrong size, could you please change it prior to order processing?
Yes, we will be able to change the size if you make a request within 24 hours after placing your order with us. After this time it will be difficult for us to accommodate your request as the product would have moved into production.
I need to update my delivery address and/or contact details. How do I go about it?
Please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org at the earliest opportunity with Subject: CHANGE IN ADDRESS. If the order has not been dispatched, we would be happy to update these details for you.
I want to cancel my order.
If you wish to cancel your order, please write to us at email@example.com within 24 hours of placing your order to be eligible for a full refund. We do not offer refunds beyond this period. Refunds are only processed for fulfillment errors, such as incorrectly shipped or missing items. The amount will be refunded via the original mode of payment within one week of initiation. What if I am unhappy with the fit after purchase?
You can return it for a size exchange or opt for receiving a store credit note which you can use to purchase a different product within 3 months.
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds due to the time and labour that goes into each product. Refunds are only processed based on fulfillment errors, such as incorrectly shipped or missing items. The amount is refunded via the original mode of payment within one week of initiation
How do I return/exchange an international order?
You can initiate the return process through our website on the shipping and returns page. You will need your order number (mentioned in the order confirmation email) and email address to initiate the process. You will receive further instructions on email from firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that size exchanges/returns will not be possible on a discounted product.
Do you offer reverse pickups?
We do not offer reverse pick-ups. The cost of any return and exchange is to be borne by the customer. While sending us your order, please make sure that the sender name and order name remain the same or mention your order number on the parcel. This will avoid all potential communication lags.
I am unhappy with my exchange order. Is it an option to return it again?
Yes, you can return an order twice although we would encourage you not to do so. If you are not certain on what to order, we suggest taking a credit note and using it.
Do you have COD?
Yes, we offer Cash On Delivery for domestic orders.
Do you have Paytm?
We do not accept money through Paytm.
I was debited but not sure if my order went through.
If the order was placed you should have received an order confirmation email from us almost immediately. There is a possibility that this email was delivered to your spam or junk mail so be sure to check these folders as well. If you haven’t received it, request you to bring this to our attention so we can check on this immediately. You can write to us at email@example.com.
I’m unable to make the payment to complete my purchase..
This may happen due to technical reasons like down time with the bank, extended time lapse etc. We would recommend that you try again. If the issue persists, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the garments you’d like to purchase, your preferred size for each and the delivery pin code. Once we receive your request, we will send you a payment link to complete your purchase.
How do I see prices in INR?
Our website is geo-sensitive and the prices will reflect in the respective currencies. There is sadly no way at present to manually change this setting.
Do you offer discounts?
We don’t usually offer discounts or go on a sale. We pay fair wages that are above industry standard, respect and pay artisans at asking price and do not add mark-ups for store commissions or inventory pile-up. Our clothes are impeccably tailored and will last for a very long time. Which means that our garments are already well-priced.
Any offers for first time customers?
We do offer first time purchase discounts if a customer writes in and if there is an active offer available for you at the time of purchase.
Do you offer gift wrapping services?
Yes, we would be happy to gift wrap a product for you. Please mention the same in the NOTE section at check-out. While we do the best we can, do note that we do not have a professional gift packer on our team.
Can you add a personalized note to the order?
Yes, absolutely. You can request for the same by mentioning this in the notes section while placing your order with us and we’ll be sure to include it.
Do you have gift cards?
We do have e-gift cards. Simply search for ‘Gift Cards’ on our website to see the available options. You can mention the recipient Name, Email ID and Personal Message in the NOTE section at check-out. The card will be sent out by email on the next working day.

The size I am looking for in a specific style is out of stock on the website. When will it be back?
Because we make all our products on a made to order basis, there is a very good chance we will be able to adjust stock at our end to make your preferred size available for you. You can check with us by writing to us at email@example.com.
When will a style be back in stock?
Restocking of products is highly dependent on customer demand and fabric availability. If we’ve received enough requests and the fabric is available to reorder, we do bring it back. Given the nature of our process, it’s hard for us to say if something will be back in stock unless it’s already been confirmed.
What is The Summer Society?
It is a members only program that gives customers access to offers, gifts, invites, and points per purchase that can be redeemed in the future.
I’ve purchased the membership; how do I view my points?
Upon purchase, you can log into your summer house account to view the points and offers available to you.
How do I log in to my account?
You can log in to your account by using your email address and password, same as the one used while creating your account.
How do I use offers?
Once you’ve redeemed the offer of your choice, copy the unique coupon code given to you and use the same at checkout.
What about all my past purchases?
Points from all your past purchases will be automatically added to your account. For this, please ensure you use the same email address you have used for your past purchases.
Is it a one time purchase?
Yes, The Summer Society membership will be a one time purchase.
Is the membership calculated based on purchase date or calendar year?
It is calculated based on your purchase date.
How do birthday points work?
Birthday points will be rewarded only if the date is updated at least 30 days prior to the birthday. Please note that these points are rewarded on your birthday and not when the birthday is entered.
My past purchase points are not reflected in my account.

Can I return an offer once redeemed?
A redeemed offer cannot be returned or reused.
How do I collect and redeem points?
For every rupee spent, you earn 1 point. Once you accumulate 6000 points, they can be redeemed.For every 100 points in your account, you'll receive a credit value of 5% i.e.100 points = 5 rupee credit value 6000 points = 300 credit value 12000 points = 600 credit value and so on.
What is a store credit note?
A store credit note is a unique code given to you on return of a garment. It’s valued at the base purchase price of the returned product and is valid for six months from the date of issue. You can use the credit note to purchase a different product of your choice from our website.
How do I use my store credit? OR Where do I enter my store credit/promo code?
You can enter your store credit note in the ‘Gift card or discount code’ field on the payment page.
How long is my store credit valid for?
Your store credit is valid for a period of six months from the date of issue. Please note that you can not use more than one code at a time.
How do I check the validity of my credit note?
You can check the validity of your credit note by adding six months to the date of issue.
Can you extend my credit note?
We do not extend our store credit codes beyond its validity but this can be reviewed on a case to case basis. Please write to us at email@example.com and we’ll surely review the same.
I’m unable to use my credit note. Please help.

FABRIC & CARE
What colour is it?
We try to keep the colour in image as close to the real one and there is usually almost no difference between the colour on your screen and the actual garment. However colour viewing differs in various gadget screens. Occasionally, in naturally dyed or hand crafted garments, the colour may slightly vary. This is not an error or poor quality but simply a testament to the hand process.
Will the product look the same as the images on the website?
Yes, we work very hard to ensure the imagery matches the product in reality. What you see will also depend on the gadget at hand and its display settings but we can assure you that the chances of there being a discrepancy is negligible.
Could you recommend a mild detergent that I can use?
The better home - laundry liquid. Do note that we do not have any connection or partnership with the mentioned company, and are simply speaking from our experience. Your experience with the product may vary.
Any special care instructions for ironing?
Always iron inside out. The heat or temperature of the iron depends on the fabric at hand. We’ve detailed these specifics in our fabric care guide.
Will the garment shrink post wash?
While all our fabrics are prewashed and pre-shrunk, a small amount of shrinking is still possible. We recommend washing with cold water as heat may shrink a natural fabric.
Which fabrics do you use?
We work with a variety of fabrics including but not limited to handspun and handwoven cotton, handwoven cotton, organic cotton, linen, handwoven linen, organic linen, handspun and handwoven mulberry silk, tencel, econyl, handwoven chanderi, tencel modal and giza cotton.

I sent an email but received no response.
We’re truly sorry if this has happened. Our usual response time is 24 hours from when we receive a query. If you haven’t heard from us in this time frame, it’s usually because the query requires us to check with our tireless production team for advice or confirmation. Alternatively, being a lean team we might have simply missed out on your email due to the increased numbers of queries received in that period. Do you customize sizes?
Yes, we do take up custom orders. Please write to us at email@example.com with the customization details and the products you wish to order. We will try our best to make it possible.
Do you customize length?
Yes, we do. Please mention your preferred length in the notes section while placing your order with us.
The model is 5.9”, I’m not. What do you recommend?
All our products are made keeping in mind an average height of 5.4”. You can check the default length of each garment on the product page. If you wish to order a custom length, please mention the preferred garment length in the NOTE section at check out. Please note that COD, returns and exchanges on custom pieces will not be possible as they will be made specifically for you.
Can you make a sleeveless garment with sleeves?
Yes, we can add sleeves for an additional cost. There are a few silhouettes that restrict us from doing so but we can add sleeves to most of our sleeveless styles. In order to get this done, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will guide you through this process.
Can you line a garment?
Yes, we can line a garment for an additional cost. Do note that this service depends on the silhouette, fabric and colour of the specific garment. In order to get this done, please write to us at email@example.com and we will guide you through this process.
Can you replicate a personal garment with your fabrics?
Sadly this is not possible.

In order to list a product for sale, you can follow the steps below: Log in - Log into your summer house account and view your wardrobe here.Find your item - Pick the item you want to sell from your purchase history List your item - List the item by entering a few details Ship your item - Once sold, the Re-love team will send you a shipping label and package to ship the product to its new owner.
You can purchase a product as follows:Select the product you want to buy. Make sure to view images and notes from sellers.Add the product to cart and checkout. The product will be sent to you from the seller.
Is Re-love available internationally?
No. At this time this option is available only within India.
